The KOBE+ 8 System Sport Pack iD Basketball Shoe is the lightest, lowest Nike basketball shoe to date with 360 degrees of breathability, responsive cushioning and exceptional traction for a quick first step. Customize it with your name, number and favorite colors, and then choose your cushioning system for personalized comfort and total control.

Choose Your System

Multiple cushioning options provide customized comfort on the court. Choose Lunarlon cushioning for a soft yet responsive ride, or, for use with orthotics, opt for the orthotic-ready Nike Zoom insert. It's super-thin and sits lower to the ground than traditional midsole inserts, making it easy and comfortable to wear with orthotics. To track and measure your game with Nike+ Basketball, choose the KOBE+ 8 Sport Pack midsole.

In order to track and measure your game, you need the KOBE+ 8 Sport Pack midsole OR the KOBE+ 8 midsole and the Nike+ Sport Kit (sold separately). If you already have the Nike+ Sport Kit or another Nike+ basketball shoe, choose the KOBE+ 8 midsole.

Choose Your Outsole

The solid and translucent rubber outsoles grip the ground during hard cuts and sprints to the hoop. If you're an indoor player, choose the solid outsole for better gym-floor traction. If you spend most of your time on the blacktop, opt for the XDR (extra-durable rubber) outsole, designed specifically for outdoor play.

Total Breathability

The dynamic upper is made of 90 percent mesh for 360 degrees of breathability, and it's tightly woven for strength and flex, creating a lightweight fit that bends naturally with the foot.

Low To The Ground

Layers of outsole rubber have been stripped away for a lightweight, minimal and low-to-the-ground feel without sacrificing the aggressive traction required for basketball's quick bursts and sudden changes of direction.

Signature Details

The graphic on the heel is part of Kobe's signature sheath logo, designed to line up with the heel graphic on the Kobe Elite sock and form the full sheath logo. A bright, knit-in pattern takes inspiration from Kobe's Black Mamba moniker and comes to life on the shoe's upper.
