The Nike Cortez was Bill Bowerman’s first masterpiece, debuting in 1972 as the lightest, most cushioned shoe on the track. Forty years later, it’s back with classic materials, vibrant colors and modern insignias to choose from.
Choose Classic Materials
The Cortez first launched with a nylon and suede body.
Get the same classic look with the nylon/suede option, or choose allover suede for timeless ’70s style in rich color combinations.
Get Original Colors
Pine green is back. A 1970s standard for this influential running-turned-street shoe, it makes a bold statement, as do other original colors like Photo Blue.
For the tongue, choose the classic white or make it your own with the tonal option.
Show Your Pride
Unlike the original, the Nike Cortez iD offers 16 country flags for the tongue top iD.
