Support
Innovative engineered mesh on the upper offers flexibility, ventilation and zonal support.
It’s woven tightly in areas that demand support and more openly where greater flexibility and ventilation are needed. Plus, the raised panel on the midfoot and eyestays is screened for increased support without the added weight of traditional overlays.
Responsive Cushioning
A Nike Zoom unit in the heel offers exceptional comfort for a super-responsive, lightweight ride.
An integrated crash pad with horizontal grooves works to absorb the shock of impact and smooth the transition into the forefoot, while soft Cushlon foam in the midsole provides a supportive, well-cushioned feel.
Flexibility
Flex grooves in the outsole increase stability and articulation for a more natural stride.
Secure Fit
An enhanced internal heel counter improves upon previous versions and wraps the heel for a snug, secure fit. For added comfort and underfoot protection, the Fitsole sockliner conforms to the shape of your foot.

GREAT PAIR OF SHOES

I have personally never owned a pair of running shoes that didn't need a little 'breaking in' before they were a comfortable fit. But that ended when I wore the Pegasus +29 for the first time. I ran 6 miles right out of the box and didn't get a single ache, pain, blister or tingle. I am completely in love with these shoes and will buy them over and over again!

The new Pegasus is not anywhere near as good as the 28. I was excited to try these, but they gave me shin splints after the second use. Never had a problem with the 28.

I love these shoes. I've worn Pegasuses since the 25's, and the 29's are even better. I run in the forest everyday, have put these shoes through all kinds of weather, and even ran through the river in them, and they're still as good as new. I have nothing bad to say about these shoes, and would reccomend them to any neutral runner looking for a great ride. Pegasus for Life!

I have owned 3 pairs of Nike Pegasus 28's in the last year. Pair #3 included training & running in a half marathon. LOVED the 28's! I purchased the 29's to train for my next half marathon. I wore them for walking around for 2 days prior to wearing them for a training run. Training run was 4 miles & my feet hurt the whole time! The next day each side of my achilles was super sore to touch. Never had a problem with foot pain or achilles pain until I ran in the 29's. I ended up purchasing a pair of 28's the night before my race at a Nike outlet store & wore them for the race. I shipped the 29's right back to Nike the next day.
