Origins
Nike's revolutionary Air-Sole unit made its way into Nike footwear in the late '70s. I haven't been totally psyched on the quality of some Nike Re-releases over the past couple years. Definitely overpriced and made out of cheaper materials, which made certain models look fake and fall apart much quicker. These shoes are not the case. They are comfortable and seem to be made of better materials. Great colors and well made. Happy with my purchase

I've ordered a few colors of the AM1 Essential, and the quality is very average, especially the comfort inside the shoe. Then I ordered both the turquoise denim and stone, the materials are crazy comfortable and the denim is high quality. Definitely worth the extra 10$. Only slight complain is the laces aren't long enough to reach the very top eyelet.
