RUN ENLIGHTENED
The Nike+SportWatch GPS (with Sensor) powered by TomTom® offers GPS tracking, takes splits, reminds you to run—even remembers your PRs. With a customizable display and both GPS and indoor tracking capabilities, it’s a watch you can take on the road, trail, treadmill or any other terrain.
Tracks Runs Anywhere

GPS combines with the Nike+ Sensor (included) to accurately track your distance, pace, time and calories burned, indoors or out.

(The Sensor fits into Nike+ ready shoes only.) Outdoors, GPS technology pinpoints your location to accurately record your time, pace and distance. Indoors, the included Nike+ Sensor uses an accelerometer to give you the same data. Used together, GPS and the Sensor seamlessly calibrate to your pace so you get accurate stats wherever you run, even if the GPS signal gets interrupted.

Motivates and Remembers

The Nike+ SportWatch GPS reminds you to run with Run Reminders, stores your Nike+ history (up to 50 runs) and keeps tabs on your personal records.

It even gives you encouragement along the way.

The good and the expected

I've had this watch almost 6 months and about 300 miles later, i've found it on the surface to be awesome. It's easy to run, easy to read and gives you all the information you should want in a format you could only hope for. Engineering and graphics are top shelf. However, I've had both Nike gps watchs before and other brands and for some reason It always comes down to the watch band, not the watch. Mine has already started to crack and i expect it to continue through the USB portion of the band and make it unusable. It still under warranty, so maybe not all is lost.

Issue with Quality of USB Snap

I received my Nike+ watch around 6 months ago. I have overall been extremely happy with the watch and have been pleased with the updates Nike has provided. However, there is one area of the watch that i believe Nike needs to seriously address and that is the flap area that snaps over the USB. The plastic on the snap is already beginning to crack and the plastic right around where the USB attaches to the band is beginning to crack. I contacted the local store that i bought it from and they are going to replace it. They informed me that they have 1 left and that this has been an issue with many who have bought this watch. They also informed me that they will not be getting anymore of these from Nike. Hopefully, this new watch will last a little longer than this first one has. However, judging by what the run shop is telling me, this seems to be a continuing theme and i'm afraid i will be looking for a watch here in another 6 months.
