these spikes are AMAZING. I broke my old pr by 30 seconds today at Nike pre-nationals in Portland, OR today. these are sooooo light and comfortable. the material on the inside pushed into my arch, but i went and ran a mile and 3/4 of a mile in accelerators the day i got them and they work great now! my friend bought a pair today at Nike pre-nationals and he smashed his pr by 40 seconds in these spikes. these are the first pair of spikes i've owned, and these are the best.

I got these spikes during the summer and wore them in a few open track meets. I liked the feel so I couldn't wait to wear them in cross country. Now that the season has started I am liking the spikes SO MUCH!
Unlike other spikes I have used these ones don't leave you feet and calves felling tired and painful. This might have something to do with the arch support plate in the shoe. The arch support is so solid I felt like I was wearing my normal training shoes as far as that goes! Also there is enough padding. Just the perfect amount of it too. My feet never started hurting over the 5k courses that I have run in lately. These spikes are also very light. Compared to my last pair of spikes there spikes feel feather light.
The grip on the spikes is also very good. It has lots of sturdy little bumps(not sure what to call these...) on the bottom of the shoe to help assist the actual spikes. Speaking of which, this pair of XC spike comes with a full set of 1/2in spikes. I ended up buying a set of 1/4in spikes because the weather has been great and the 1/2in spikes seemed a little over the top since I didn't really need that much grip.
Over all I would recommend these spikes to anyone looking for a fast pair of spikes. I am a sophomore running pretty fast times and these spikes are helping me.
