Sensors
A built-in 3-axis accelerometer measures your motion all day long.
An ambient light sensor detects environmental light levels. The brighter your environment, the brighter your display.

Water Resistance
The Nike+ FuelBand is water resistant. It is safe to wear in the shower or when dancing in the rain. Since it's not waterproof, it's not recommended for use while swimming.
Connect and Sync
Connect to your computer with the built-in USB 2.0 or use the included USB cable.
Bluetooth pairing to mobile phones for use with the Nike+ FuelBand app for iOS 5. Check back soon for compatibility with other handsets.
Battery

Great product, slight drawback but overall good.

The fuel band was purchased as gift for my wife who wants to get back in to shape after having children. With restricted time available for devoting to exercise, eg getting out for runs or going to a gym, we thought the fuelband would help her track her every day activity levels to encourage her to increase them (and therefore cals burned off etc). The main drawback is that she is pushing a buggy around all day, and because the band is worn on the wrist, which needs to be in motion for it to record activity, it is not measuring her activity levels accurately, if at all. A little frustrating for her, especially when she knows she's been on her feet and active for at least 4 - 5 hours during the day, walking eldest child to school, then keeping active with younger child all day, then often out to park again after collecting eldest. Overall though, we like the product. It just doesn't quite fit her needs at the moment, but she is still wearing it and tracking what it does measure for now.
