Works with simple women's running shoes

I purchased this sensor for my Nike in season training shoes with a comfort footbed. I was initially hesitant and was going to return the product given the fact that this sport sensor seams to be designed for a specific kind of shoe (that has an insert slot for the sensor), nevertheless I am always about trying to make it work ;) I lifted the padding of the shoe and put the sensor in below it, and it worked! I am sure it's the padding of the shoe that made it so comfortable having the sensor in there. I loved it! Activation was easy and it works well with a Nike running app that I use on my iPhone.
I was just a little disappointed when I couldn't get the sensor to pair with the Nike Training app that i have on my Ipad, the signal is not catching for some very sad reason... hence the moderately high quality ranking that I assigned. Other than that it's mazing because you can track the miles you run, the time it takes you to run that distance and gives you the calories based on the info that you input in your profile.
