Now, I'm a basketball player, so it's an 'off-label' use, but I gotta say, I'm loving these.
After basketball-shoes got so generic, and focused on 1-specific type of finesse player(I'm not, I'm 6'07(2,00 m), 255 lbs(115 kg)), I started looking around, because I need shoes that can take a beating, a hard beating, and these jumped out.
And they don't let down, right out of the box, you can feel this shoe is comfortable(no need for break-in), well cushioned, and has a lot of 'reserve' in it, so even in-game, they can handle the pressures easily.
They really remind me of the cross-trainers from the mid-90s(which I loved too).
The footbed is pretty gait-neutral, but protective to prevent roll-over, or over-pronation, the uppers fit smoothly around my foot(not too snug, not too wide) which is aided by the inner-bootie, and the DragOn 2x is placed really, really well, it's smooth, protective, and holds your feet in place nicely, because of the flexible mesh, it creates a more natural feel than fuse, or FlyWire.
The fuse on the mid-foot, and heel, is placed perfectly, and effectively, it supports, but doesn't restrict, and a great housing for the padding around the heel.
The only thing I'd like to see is a longer tongue, my ankles are substantial, and they push the tongue down(which can be a little uncomfortable at times), if it where an inch or so longer, the tongue could stand in front of my ankle, and create an even more stable fit.
Other than that, these are awesome shoes, even for basketball.
